"Kristin brings to client engagements years of experience both inside non-profit and profit-based organizations, and as an outside consultant. Recently, she led the strategic planning process and creation of the development function at the Immigrants’ Assistance Center. There she also led the rebranding effort, marketing communications efforts, and built the fundraising infrastructure to include new donor management technology, cultivating new donor relationships, and researching and soliciting grants from new sources.
Other accomplishments include:
Prior to her IAC engagement, she was Owner and Project Manager of Fathom Holdings, which provided business consulting services to real estate and renewable energy clients with a focus on Board development, human resources, legislative policy advocacy, and community outreach.
Kristin was Assistant Manager of Paralegals at the Boston office of Hale and Dorr LLP (now Wilmer Hale). She was promoted several times, ultimately responsible for recruiting college graduates with an interest in attending law school to become Litigation Assistants. She created, implemented and led the firm’s first-ever professional development training curriculum to acclimate the young hires to organization culture, and set them up for success within the Firm and as future lawyers.
Early in her career, Kristin was a Business and Philanthropy Analyst at The Cullinane Group in Boston where she analyzed businesses and organizations for investment recommendations to the president.
Within the mix of out-of-the-home career pursuits, Kristin was the Chief Executive Officer/full-time homemaker of the Morrissey Household where she directed all household operations of four children including home maintenance, finances, health and wellness, education, travel, and extracurricular engagements.
Kristin holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, and a BA from Gordon College."
